Malaysia maintains dominance in global Islamic finance
Malaysia remains the centre of global Islamic finance and has become more vibrant with its diverse set of industry players, Intellasia.Net News has reported citing the statement of deputy Finance minister Datuk Amiruddin Hamzah at the Global Islamic Finance Forum 2018.
"The financial institutions and professional ancillary service providers in Malaysia have vast experience and are instrumental in facilitating the growth of the industry beyond our national border," Intellasia.Net News has quoted the government official.
Moreover, the Islamic finance industry’s move to comply with Value-based Intermediation (VBI), a system which articulated strategies to strengthen the roles and impact of Islamic banks towards a sustainable financial ecosystem, would further strengthen Malaysia's leadership position, Intellasia.Net News noted citing the statement of the government official.
